Mimi Gan and Jim Dever Mimi Gan and Jim Dever, Co-Producers
Director Mimi Gan and her writing partner, Jim Dever, have shared an office in their day jobs as Seattle television reporters. Together, they also created and hosted a weekly magazine show, for which they received numerous regional Emmys and a national Iris award.

Following the success of With Honors Denied, Mimi and Jim are currently producing and directing several new short and feature-length documentaries.


Tom Voelk

Tom Voelk, Director of Photography
With over 23 years of shooting and editing experience, Tom has won multiple Emmy, Iris and Gracie Awards, among others. He has captured stories all over the world in locations such as Japan, Vietnam, Australia, Finland and Romania. He is currently training for his 29th marathon.



Mark Morache
Mark Morache, Editor
Since 1980, Mark has worked as a photographer, editor, and producer for every major television station in Seattle. He has received several regional Emmys, as well as numerous national awards from the National Press Photographers' Association. His most recent international expedition took him to China, where he was one of the first westerners to document the massive Three Gorges Dam project.



Jeanette Alexander
Jeanette Alexander, Musical Composer and Performer
Originally from New York City, Seattle has been Jeanette Alexander's home since 1990. She began to compose music in the 80’s and develop her unique style, writing music that evokes peacefulness and introspection. Jeanette is the 2002 "Just Plain Folks" award winner for Best Instrumental Album and Best Instrumental Song. The music she contributed to With Honors Denied can be found on her CD, Still Point, available at jeanettealexandermusic.com.
